New Accounts

New Accounts

To receive a library card, a new patron must bring two types of identification: a piece of mail sent to your current address and a photo ID.  The Library is a property tax-based non-profit organization; therefore we require new patrons to provide proof of residency. Individuals who are not Boundary County residents may obtain equal access to materials and services through one of our many membership offerings for a small fee.

Checkout/Loan Policies

Checkout/ Loan Policies

The Library limits the loan of material in the following manner:
15 items per person; 30 items per couple; 50 items per family card.

Primary cardholders are responsible for the return of all BCL materials on time and in good condition as well as any items borrowed on their behalf by the BCL from other libraries as an Interlibrary loan.
