ZONE 1 KEN BLOCKHAN

Serving Boundary County as a Library Board Trustee since 2015, appointed and sworn in due to a vacancy and running unopposed since.

Occupation: Construction Inspector with David Evans & Associates

Other Community Involvement and Personal Achievements: Directly involved in the South Hill project, by bringing the design and safety issues to the attention of Senator Keogh who acquired funds for different phases of the project. Involved in a variety of additional community projects and volunteer companion services.

ZONE 2 WENDY MCCLINTOCK

Serving Boundary County as a Library Board Trustee since 2009, running unopposed since she was since she was elected by her zone and sworn in.

Occupation: retired Registered Licensed Dietician

Other Community Involvement and Personal Achievements: Whittier College B.S. Food and Nutrition, and Continuing Education at Berkeley, managed a kitchen with 75 employees and mentored Graduate Students, designed kitchen facilities for Baylor Hospital System, former consulting at long term care and retirement facilities, taught in two Junior Colleges, lifetime member of American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, active member of Boundary County Art Association, past member for Habitat for Humanity and Hospital Auxiliary, proud mother of three.

ZONE 3 AARON BOHACHEK

Serving Boundary County as a Library Board Trustee since 2017, appointed and sworn in due to a vacancy.

Occupation: Owner and Operator of Selkirk Mountain Honey

Other Community Involvement and Personal Achievements: Degree in Journalism from U Idaho, former reporter at Bonners Ferry Herald, stay at home father of 2 kids, ages 2 and 6.

 ZONE 4 BOB BLANFORD, Chair

Serving Boundary County as a Library Board Trustee since 2015, appointed due to a vacancy, and has run unopposed since being sworn in.

Occupation: Retired from Forestry in the Olympic Peninsula and the Moyie Mill

Other Community Involvement and Personal Achievements: Navy sonar technician tour in Vietnam, B.S. Forestry from University of Washington, Board Member of Kootenai Valley Resource Initiative (KVRI), Airport Advisory Board, Volunteer 9B trails.

ZONE 5, Lee Colson

Serving Boundary County as a Library Board Trustee since 2021, appointed due to a vacancy.

Occupation: Lee recently retired from the Forest Service after a 30-year career in Fire Management.  He has degrees in Business Management and Forestry from the University of Idaho.  He is also a 25-year volunteer for the City of Bonners Ferry Fire Department.  Other community involvement includes ten years with our local Cub Scout Pack #114 and Troop #114, serving as Den Leader and then Scout Master. Lee participated in many literacy events at Valley View Elementary School, and still teaches second graders fire safety during National Fire Prevention Week.
